Fall break 2011
November 7th, 2011For readers of this long-form blog who do not receive my monthly newsletter, an explanation is necessary for the long hiatus between posts. I’ve had to take a break whilst launching my course in the new Masters in Historic Preservation degree program at the Boston Architectural College. I look forward to resuming these posts as soon as possible. Meanwhile, I have and will continue to publish essays derived from my lectures in a distinguished on-line arts and literary journal, “Open Letters Monthly”. I’m afraid the support they provide of editors, copy-editors, proofers and compositors — none of which a cash-strapped BBH can provide me — is seductive.
Meanwhile there is a long archive of previous posts running down the right hand side of this page still available. The link to the on-line journal I mention above is http://openlettersmonthly.com, where you should click on the October 2011 for my first essay there.
It is planned that my other essays will appear in a series of six or seven over that many months.
